Troubleshooting Common Issues

Slime is too sticky

This usually means it needs more activator or has absorbed moisture.

Solution: Let it rest for a few hours or add a tiny bit of contact lens solution

Slime is too stiff

Over-activation can make slime hard and less stretchy.

Solution: Knead with slightly damp hands or add a small amount of hand lotion

Slime is shrinking

This happens when slime loses moisture over time.

Solution: Store in airtight container and knead with damp hands

Slime got dusty

Unfortunately, once dust gets embedded, it's hard to remove completely.

Solution: Try picking off surface dust, but prevention is best

Expected Lifespan: With proper care, our slimes typically last 2-4 weeks. The lifespan can vary based on play frequency and storage conditions.

Texture-Specific Care

Different slime textures need slightly different care approaches:

Butter Slime

Butter slime is naturally soft and spreadable. Keep it airtight to maintain its signature smooth texture.

Cloud Slime

Cloud slime's fluffy texture is sensitive to moisture. Keep it extra dry and store away from humidity.

Icee Slime

Icee slime is snow-powder based, so it dries out faster than glue-only textures. Seal it straight after playing and add a drop of water if it starts to sizzle less.

Thick & Glossy Slime

Thick and glossy slime holds its shine best when it's kept airtight and out of direct sun. If it tightens up, knead in a little slime activator-free lotion or water.
